About Bed & Breakfast Directory

Our aim at BedandBreakfastDir.co.uk is to provide an easy to follow site dedicated to accommodation in the United Kingdom of Great Britain. We want you to be able to find the most suitable accommodation closest to the area you wish to stay in, all within a couple of clicks of your mouse.

We have created this site so that each page should load fast as we know, from experience, how frustrating it can be to have to wait while a multitude of non-relevant images load before you can even start looking at hotels and guest houses. Furthermore we also know, from very bitter experiences, how annoying it can be to have to wait for many pages which, when loaded, list only a small list of accommodations. We decided that the way to combat this was to list all the properties in a given area/town/village onto one page but only list the minimal of important information (such as price, address and star rating) and a very small image - so that the page loads fast. You can then easily compare hotels by scrolling up and down.

Obviously you will want to know more before booking your room and all this information is provided on the page which is accessible by clicking on the large "click to book" image to the right of each image.

And for those people who like to browse around a site while they decide exactly where to stay we have included a little information about each specific location. Over time we plan to add much more information about each particular location and any places or attractions to visit. Our aim is bold we aim to provide the maximum amount of information about accommodation in the United Kingdom as well as as much information about each area so that you can get the very most out of your vacation, weekend city break etc.

On each page is a small image of the area with a little introduction below. Below that you will find the list of accommodation in that area. However, as new properties are added regularly (and older ones close) sometimes our information is not, strictly, bang up to date, so we decided to include a simple search form on every page of our site as shown below
