Bangor is a city in the county of Gwynedd, Wales, The city is actually one of the smallest in the United Kingdom but the small population is boosted by around 10,000 students who attend Bangor University. Bangor is situated right on the coast not far from the Menai Bridge which crosses the Menai Strait to join the island of Anglesey to North Wales. Bangor is popular with tourists as the nightlife is superb with plenty of night clubs, pubs, bars and restaurants, which is to be expected in a unitversity city.
