Bolton Bed & Breakfast

Bolton is a large town in Greater Manchester, England which has a deeply industrious past which was once in the county of Lancashire. Prior to the industrial revolution Bolton was a much smaller settlement. The town was introduced to the world of textiles by Flemish weavers in the fifteenth century and, during the industrial revolution, numerous textile mills were founded along with the supporting industriessuch as chemical works. Today the cotton industry has all but gone and it would seem that all that remains is packaged up and delivered in the form of museums. This is great news if you are interested in industrial history but, happily, Bolton has a few other things to keep the visitor entertained, though most visit the town on business.
