Brighton Bed & Breakfast

Brighton is a popular coastal resort in the county of East Sussex, England which, until the mid-eighteenth century, was a small fishing town (recorded as a small fishing village in the Domesday Book in 1086). Ever since the days of the early sun bathers the city of Brighton (granted city status in 2000) has grown in popularity on an almost continual basis. Today over eight million people visit Brighton each year and the city has become a popular venue for business conferences. The Royal Pavillion, shown above, was built by the Prince Regent in the early nineteenth century and purchased by the town in 1849. While the beach is incredibly popular and the usual seaside amusements are to be found Brighton also has an array of museums and other cultural attractions including the popular Brighton Festival and Fringe.
