Cardiff Apartments
Cardiff is the capital city of Wales, it can be found at Cardif Bay in the Vale of Glamorgan. Until the 19th century the city was nothing more than a small town that was rising in prominence due to the increase in industry and the port developed and became largely involved in the transportation of coal. In 1905 the town had grown sufficiently to become a city and in 1955 it was declared the nation's capital city. Today the city is vibrant and forward thinking, home to the Welsh Assembly, the Wales Millenium Centre, the Millenium Stadium and the SWALEC Stadium. On top of all this there are a number of important historical sites which include a number of castles (Cardif Castle pictured above) and Cardiff is the number one tourist destination in Wales.
