Dover Bed & Breakfast

Dover is a busy port in Kent in the south east of England. The town is most well known for being the place where you can catch a cheap ferry over to France. Even with the opening of the Chunnel (Channel Tunnel) the port remains as busy as ever.

Unfortunately most people simply drive on through when they arrive at the town but with a little closer inspection it soon becomes clear that it is a highly suitable suitable vacation destination. One of the main reasons for staying in a Dover B&B, hotel or guest house is to catch a ferry early in the morning but the town also serves as an excellent base for a touring vacation around the county of Kent and the whole of South East England. Due to the extensive transport links virtually anywhere in the region is accessible and it is even possible to take a convenient day trip to London.
