Isle of Wight Bed & Breakfast

Compton Chine on the Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight is a small island and county in the South of England which is famouss for it's Cowes Week yachting regatta. The island is less than 23 miles wide at its very widest point but there is variety in this landscape from woodland and pasture to chalky downs and high cliffs and, of course lots of coastal scenery. Slightly Victorian in character the island has a number of places to visit that will appeal to a broad range of visitors. Cycling is a popular way to travel around the Isle of Wight but there is a reasonable bus service and a rail line between Ryde and Shanklin. Shanklin and Sandown are the islands most popular resorts with a number of excellent visitor attractions.
