Lincolnshire Bed & Breakfast

Steep Hill, Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire is a county in the East of England. Much of the county is given over to the production of wheat, barley, sugar beet and, increasingly, oilseed rape. Unlike most other counties in England, Lincolnshire has a distinct lack of any large cities with Lincoln (pictured above) being the most populous, with just over 100,000 inhabitants, and the two joined towns of Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes being the largest conurbation with a population over 120,000. Scunthorpe is once of the largest towns (with just over 75,000 inhabitants) but after that the towns decrease dramatically in size. Tourism is an important part of the local economy, especially in the Lincolnshire Wolds and the coastal resort of Skegness.
