Nottinghamshire Bed & Breakfast

The Workhouse, Southwell, Nottinghamshire

Nottinghamshire is a county in the East Midlands of England which has Nottingham as its county town. This region of England is most well known for its association with the legendary 13th century outlaw called Robin Hood and his powerful enemy the Sheriff of Nottingham. Unfortunately there is little hard evidence to support his actual existence but this has not stopped the area from capitalising on the legend and there are plenty of things to see and do if you are interested in Robin Hood. Besides Robin Hood Nottinghamshire has plenty of other places to visit and things to do including Clumber Park, Rufford Country Park, Hawton Church and Newstead Abbey.
