Huntingdon Bed & Breakfast

Huntingdon is a quaint little market town in the county of Cambridgeshire, England. Known as Oliver Cromwell's birthplace, the town in the 18th and 19th centuries as a coaching station and bridging point of the River Great Ouse. The town features the beautifully preserved medieval bridge, Huntingdon Old Bridge (pictured above) and the town centre has a number of places worth a look. Other places to visit in and around Huntingdon include; The Manor, Buckden Towers, Hilton Turf Maze, Houghton Mill and Kimbolton Castle. There are also many worthwhile museums including; Chatteris Museum, Ramsey Rural Museum and the Blacked Out Britain War Museum. As well as all this you will also find many parks and gardens including the superb Hamerton Zoo Park, Hinchingbrooke Country Park, Stukeley Meadows Local Nature Reserve and the huge Portholme Meadow (the largest water meadow in the U.K. being about 257 acres in size).
