Buckinghamshire is commonly abbreviated to "Bucks." and is an ancient (12th century) county in the South East of England which borders onto Greater London. The area has plenty of fine tourist attractions to keep the visitor occupied and there are certainly plenty of great houses to visit as well as many museums, parks and gardens and other places to visit.
Transport link in Buckinghamshire are fantastic if you have, or hire, a vehicle as four motorways (M40, M1, M25 & M4) pass through the county. Rail links are equally as good with four main lines running through the area (West Coast, Great Central, Chiltern & Great Western main lines).
