The city of Oxford

Oxford is the county town of Oxfordshire, a county in the South East of England. The city is absolutely lovely with an abundance of beautiful buildings and two rivers (the River Cherwell & River Thames) flow through Oxford to meet just outside the city centre. Oxford is know as the "city of dreaming spires", first said by the poet Matthew Arnold referring to the spires of Oxford University (shown above). Besides all of the amazing buildings there are a few other places of interest in Oxford, Ashmolean Museum, Bodleian Library, the Museum of the History of Science, Oxford Botanic Garden, Pitt Rivers Museum, Sheldonian Theatre and St. Mary The Virgin Church, to name but a few.
