Stone Bed & Breakfast

Stone is an old market town in the county of Staffordshire in the West Midlands of England. The River Trent flows through the town and there are a few places of interest but the main reason to stay in the town of Stone is to attend one of the towns festivals. The Stone Festival has been running for 40 years (at 2009) and is a full week of events leading up to Carnival day which features a parade, funfair and more. Later in the year there are two more festivals, Stone Literary Festival and Stone Food & Drink Festival. Of course the town still has a farmers market where you will find all manner of local goods and produce.
